Top 5 Art and Design Apps on Android in Sweden for Q1 2022

During the first quarter of 2022, the art and design app category on the Android platform in Sweden saw diverse performance metrics. Here's a closer look at the top 5 applications based on data from Sensor Tower.

Sketchbook started the quarter with 1.9K downloads in the final week of December, but saw a gradual decline, ending March with around 700 downloads weekly. Active users also followed a downward trend, starting at 7.4K and finishing the quarter at 5.7K.

ibis Paint X experienced a similar trend. Downloads decreased from 2K in late December to about 700 by the end of March. The app had a peak revenue of $47 in late January, but generally hovered around $10 per week. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 9.7K and closing the quarter at 7.9K.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor showed a more stable performance. Weekly downloads ranged from 700 to 1.1K, while revenue peaked at $1.5K in late January, maintaining an average of around $1K weekly. The active user base remained robust, fluctuating between 8.2K and 8.9K.

Clip Studio Paint saw fluctuating downloads, starting with 78 and peaking at 583 in mid-January before stabilizing around 115 by the end of March. Revenue varied significantly, reaching as high as $84 in late January and $82 at the end of March. Active users peaked at 592 in mid-January but decreased to 189 by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, MyTravel: Travel Boast Planner, despite being a newcomer, showed impressive growth. Downloads surged from negligible numbers in February to nearly 3K by the end of March. Revenue recorded $76 in the final week of March, and active users increased from 1.6K to 3.5K over the same period.
